"My Name is Rachel Corrie"

The short life and sudden death of Rachel Corrie, and the words she left behind

Three years ago Rachel Corrie was killed by an Israeli bulldozer in Gaza while working with the International Solidarity Movement, a peacemaking campaign that protests and non-violently resists the illegal Israeli occupation of Palestinian territory. This is her story, about a young woman who died fighting for the freedom of a people she hardly knew. Meet the human behind the controversy.

"My Name is Rachel Corrie" was cancelled in New York and opened in London. Now it's coming to the Emporium and is FREE OF CHARGE. (Donations will be accepted to fund the presenter's upcoming trip to Palestine to participate in the International Solidarity Movement as well as do research for a theater piece to be performed upon her return.)
